I’ve forgotten my password to my Microsoft Account (personal only, for business emails contact your business IT department).
Go to: https://account.live.com/ enter your email → then click ‘Forgotten my Password’. Follow the steps to reset
How do I know if I already have a Microsoft Account?
A Microsoft account is a free account you use to access many Microsoft devices and services, such as the web-based email service Outlook.com (also known as hotmail.com, msn.com, live.com).
When you create a Microsoft account, you can use any email address as the username, including addresses from Outlook.com, Yahoo! or Gmail.

I’m concerned about my personal information, what data does Scotch Oakburn College collect from me?
During setup please read through the ‘Permission requested by:’ window. Our organisation requires your personal account as an authentication of identity, Scotch Oakburn College does not collect any personal data related to your personal Microsoft Account.
Do I need a computer to setup my Microsoft Account and Dash Access?
You can follow the email steps on your phone or tablet without the need for a laptop or computer.
